We wanted a pair of sunnies that could do it all — beach on Saturday, pub on Sunday, no questions asked. The Barbed Frames are our take on a slim, low-profile oval lens with wraparound arms, keeping things clean and understated rather than shouty.

Every pair blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays with full UV400 protection, so your eyes are covered whether you're out on the water or just walking to the shops. Paired with solid 5-barrel hinges and a lightweight build so you forget you're wearing them by lunchtime. Finished off with our barbed-wire artwork on both arms and a Lunar Co stamp on the inside — small details, but ones we care about.

These run compact, with a 55mm lens width and 22mm bridge, and a low bridge that keeps them sitting close to the face. If you know you've got a wider face or usually go for oversized frames, these might sit a bit snug. If you're after a close-fitting, low-profile pair, this is exactly that.
